Panthers Camp was started in Portola Valley over 25 years ago by CMS PE teacher and Athletic Director, Dan Flahavan. After training at Nike Mountain Air and Nike Tahoe Tennis Camps, Dan decided to bring these experiences to his local community. Panthers Camp has grown into a true family business and is now a tradition for kids up and down the peninsula. We work year round to make the first month of summer magical for campers and staff.
Every day and week at camp is a new experience. Campers rotate through multiple stations to keep them constantly engaged and learning new skills. Campers will find familiarity in traditional sports such as soccer, lacrosse, golf, flag football and softball but will be constantly challenged by non-traditional offerings including pickleball, ultimate frisbee, ping pong, flag games, razor scooters and spike ball to name a few! We believe in the power of teamwork and mindset so every rotation includes risk/adventure and team building opportunities.
Seeing kids embrace movement and physical challenge drives us and we value the smiles we see at camp and the positive feedback we hear.
